Love that composition.
Monster is waking up from lines "In the cage". He know he can't stop him, trying to his this rage, this monster. And monster is roaring but he calms down and cuts out the line "And I did all for you". Then he is telling us that he is aware of the monster that is taking control and he just can do nothing about it. With line "What have I become" monster grows in power even more. He is starting with chorus again but word "RAGE" is much more powerful now. Then he is explaining everything with remorse or grudge and he is crying over what he have become for world, as he said earlier. Rage is real there.
It feels like a real fight in persons heart and his emotions bursting out just like it happens with everyone. Not even because of lyrics, this song is constructed so perfect... Gotta praise the AGT! One of my favourites of theirs.

Amazing. The music and the singer is so sad and haunting. It reminds me of a soldier having experienced the horrors of war, realising that he's turning into a killer. Paints a picture of soldiers who have gone through war come out of it missing pieces of themselves.

I fell for this song right away especially the "made myself much colder" part. That being said, it's not what you'd call good rhymes. But it IS what you'd call good poetry. And the melody is fitting and catchy.
