Beautiful piece of music. The drums drove the song, the fretless bass provided a beautiful bottom end, and the guitar was melodic yet soulful. What fun to have written this song, to be part of the creative process.

What a great composition from McLaughlin, I'm 72 yrs old & watched Miles Davis give birth to fusion, of all the great fusion bands I saw in the 1970's only John McLaughlin with his Mahavishnu Orchestra were as consistently creative in writing complex yet beautiful pieces as Frank Zappa was, the tour where Zappa used Mahavishnu as his opening act was mind blowing, each night John & Frank would push their bands to out perform each other, my wife & I followed the tour through 5 states, I'd give anything to have had the camera tech back then that we have now to capture those shows, they all lie in Zappas vault collection, unheard for 40 years .
