i am new to a samsung Q90T 85 inch...a Panasonic 4k 820 player....SONOS ARC soundbar / 2 Sonos subs / and 2 ONE SL's as rears...debating on getting the SONOS 5's for have bought about 50 4k's blue ray movies....have about 2000 blue rays to date.... i am not a gamer at most of your reviews and they helped me decide which 4k movies to buy, , , i would have gone LG OLED 77 but its for a bright room and plus I have worries about burn in its a piece of mind thing....keep up the good work ...cheers and be safe

Toy Story 4 was the first true 4k DI for an animated film. Audio was outstanding as well.

Hey Adam! I totally agree with you that some great 4k discs came out. The Alita disc is awesome, love the soundtrack. John Wick 3 looks and sounds totally awesome. Brightburn's soundtrack makes the disc a great one. Just picked up Overlord it rocked my system well. I catch a lot of flack for it, but I really enjoy Mortal Engines. Even my positive comments about this movie on YouTube have been trolled! Aquaman is also my number one, especially for system demos.

Nice List Adam.Your #1 pick i'll be watching shortly, i'm under a little bit of superhero fatigue currently due to those damn 'Avengers'-lol.Batman, ('89), Spiderman:Far From Home & Shazam in 4K are also awaiting a first viewing also, but after 'Aquaman' though.Can't wait 'til your next next list.

My favorite 4K disc this year was easily the Shining. Actually thought the CGI in aquaman looked terrible and ruined the movie for me- it’s good for use as an HDR demo disc though.

Hi just wanted to check what is your motion setting on your c9 oled. The movement is choppy and full of judder. Real Cinema is on and tru motion is off. Even if I enable deblur to 10 it does not help. Need your expert support please..

I agree with most of your list. Cant believe there is no mention of the new lion king? Despite the negative reviews of the movie there can be no dispute that this movie on 4K was truly exceptional. I have seen and own all of the movies in your list. Lion King tops them all for overall quality.

Really dig your Top Ten list. Alita wound up being my Top choice for 2019 but Overlord and Mortal Engines are great demo worthy picks. Happy 2020 👍🏾🍻💯

Nice list I keep on forgetting about Brightburn and that movie is deserving to be on this list. A couple on my list are Moana and Spider-man Into the Spider-verse.

Agree with you on Overlord and Mortal engines. My first 4k was Christine and it looks awesome as well. So when will Star Wars episodes 1-6 come out in 4k?

Have you seen Shin Godzilla in 4k?! If you enjoyed King of the Monsters I'm curious how you would compare the two.
