Please ask Dr. Scott what he sees when he puts Stack &Tilt golfers on the pressure plates. I'm curious how their ground forces are different and if they sacrifice anything.

I love videos like this. The weight shift is only talked about with those two words ( weight shift) It's never talked in detail of what your body has to do to do it correctly

*Feel the same thing with weight in the heels and a slight crack in the knees but hips still over the ankles. A lot of this type of instruction is available on the ZEN Golf Mechanic YouTube site and HUGE transformations are being made there.*

I had a great lesson with Marcus at Zen Golf a couple of years ago. I made massive changes in the lesson & used the rotating discs a lot. The problem I had was fhat I didn’t understand what the benefit was. Lee has cleared this up for me in this video & Inwill now go back to including them in my practice.

Best explanation of weight shift and when to do it I have heard to date, been a right side loader and struggled all my golfing life getting my weight to the left quick enough- thank very much
Lee's description of when his backswing finished and re centring started open up my eyes, the pressure is moving left as the club head is still going back, now I also understand separation, couldn't do that either very well.
many thanks to you both
👏😄👍

Would be great to see you do a lesson with Marcus from Zen Golf

There's so much instruction, quite often aimed at more senior golfers, to get onto the right side at the top of the backswing, with Sam Snead as an example. Sam had god-given hand-eye coordination. However, I'm pretty sure Hogan was doing what you're saying. I've always felt stuck behind my right side, can't get over to the left in time, with OTT tendencies. I think your explanation is key to resolving those issues. Fantastic lesson!

Brandon I just watched a great hitting baseball coach with a young kid and the kid was standing up and stopping his shoulders the coach had the kid hit to right center but the key was for the kids chest to stay over his toes through the swing and the coach kept saying stay in your spine angle keep your chest over your toes through the swing I found it interesting …the reason I was watching it because my 4 year old grandson has a great swing so I was looking for drills, it never ends from baseball to golf ..

I love your channel, but I wonder if you have ever talked to Dr. Lynn about Mike Adams golf instruction.
Dr. Lynn does a lot of work with Mike Adams and Terry Rowles.
They believe that that the golf swing is not a one size fits all.
They have a series of tests and measurements to determine the best swing for the individual.

Brendon, For me the interesting feature of the double lazy Susan board is that, by eliminating the ground torque under each foot it completely changes the way your body rotates. What I see is that both your knees rotate about a vertical axis and are synchronised with your hip rotation about the same axis. There is almost none of the up and down motion of the hip joints that Dr Kwon analysis of elite golfers indicates is necessary for swinging a club effectively about an inclined spine axis.
I was examining a Tiger Woods swing a few days ago and noticed that his knees and hips rotate in a similar synchronised manner but of course this is only a component of the more complex body motion when the feet are largely prevented from rotating by the ground.
It would be interesting to get Dr Kwon’s take on what is going on here.

Do you think the 8 board is the best aid out there for teaching correct lower body motion ?

It must be difficult for an instructor to deal with advanced students that have been working with other teachers. But the hardest thing is teaching a raw beginner. This is the kind of lesson for either a beginner or advanced player. Would be interesting to see what a group of excellent players would have to say about teaching eager beginners. But so much of the golf instruction is directed towards avid, eager and enthusiastic golfers. And rightly so. But how do you introduce new players to the game — it’s not an easy game to learn without help. Looks easy, but so does water skiing. But I digress. I do see that such interesting teaching tools would be great for particular golfers that could benefit from learning what the teaching gadgets are designed to teach. My question is when Is It the right time to introduce a student to such gadgets?
