how about the upper bass?, i have nd model and its lack of upper bass. i can enjoy it when listen to rock song or like kinda band song that have kick drum in the song

If you want more Bass, get the Charge 5, if you want more clarity sound, get the charge 4.

These little things put out a Massive 40 watts which is very impressive for a portable speaker. Just dont use bass boost for too long at the highest volume.
Honestly this thing has so much bass, that bass boost is not really needed.

I got 2 Charge 4's for the price of 1 Charge 5.. Win.

Yes the Charge 5 is better than the Charge 4. The upgrades are notable.

Saying that, the Charge 4 is really awesome and is currently half the price of the Charge 5. So.. I got 2 Charge 4's to rock out in stereo. I don't regret my decision.
