I definitely feel like it's gonna get to a point where Omega is such a high value target that Vader is gonna have to step in and hunt down the Bad Batch, which would likely lead to their deaths. Though I have a hard time imagining Disney giving us such a depressing ending to the series like that.

with the assassin i think its Cody because when that officer told Cody to shoot the leader of those droids in season 2 episode 3 and Cody basically refused, leading crosshair to kill her, i think the officer told rampart for then rampart to send Cody to tantis and then lie to crosshair because he was suspicious about troops going missing while he's in missions, I don't think its tech because he's defective and like crosshair said in season 3 episode 6, they couldn't turn him because of his defective nature and I would argue that tech is more defective then crosshair, because techs chip never activated while crosshair's chip did work slightly during order 66, so my guess its cody which could have rex retire and him ending up like he was in rebels.
