Tonight was very poor - I agree think the 4-4-2 shape (2nd Half) played into the hands of West Ham's narrow backline. We started brightly and typically said to my boy we need a goal to go with this pressure. As it happened WH get the opener. We went backwards from there.

Never has a man been missed as much as Dan Burn was last night...Then add that to the fact that Joelinton thinks it's ok to let opposing player's run past him in the box...Isak missing chances..Gordon missing chances..Bruno wanting too many touches..Schar not sensing danger..Kelly allowing Antonio to bully him all game..The list is endless with this team at the minute...I could go on and on...However the catalyst is this..At any level of football if you dont put the ball in the onion bag..you don't win games...Thats Newcastle United...

No real consistency in the Magpies, on one week off the next unlike all the usual top teams, keep losing games agianst teams they should beat like those usual top teams do...

Les Ferdinand jinxed the match before we started when he said West Ham need to win Newcastle don’t but yeah we should have beaten WH they have had a number of losses but they Newcastle were asleep in the 2nd half not even making an attempt on goal

i was watching from india .... the game was around 1am in the morning ... i waited and watched it till 3am and just felt so bad and went back to sleep . thank u newcastle, my day is ruined .

also why is the finishing so bad, missing easy chances in almost all games
