IB with TInspire Functions and Algebra

Functions and Algebra are present in all three IB mathematical courses and constitute a large part of the syllabus in IB Mathematics. The webinar will introduce the concept of a composite and inverse function with some conceptual class activities. TI-Nspire GDC is a very useful tool in many examination questions where algebraic solving and graphing is required. Using Trace and Analyze Graph, together with Algebra tools will be incorporated in solving problems to determine asymptotes and main features of graphs. Learning about graphs transformations is so much easier with sliders and visual animations. The connection between the reciprocal graph and that of the original function can be seen so well with the help of technology.
