ADF Middle East Support Unit prepares for deployment

The ADF has been deployed to the Gulf States for Operation Accordion as part of the Middle East Support Unit. Army 3rd Brigade's 3rd Combat Service Support Battalion and RAAF's No.27 Squadron will provide logistics support to the ADF's Middle East operations.
In preparing for deployment, the contingent first undertook a series of training activities including weapons handling, cultural awareness and tactical care of the combat casualty. Operation Accordion is the overall support mission to the ADF's Operations Highroad, Okra, Manitou and additional Gulf States activities.
