I cry so much while making edits like these. I love edits with meaning. I also love making them. I didn't really like this edit at first, but it's growing on me. It's just not what I had in mind.

Catra and Shadow Weaver was definitely one of the most interesting relationships in She Ra, and one of the best and most realistic child abuse stories I've seen. That was a great video!

The most toxic mother-daughter relationship I have ever seen in my whole life. Although Shadow Weaver isn't "completely" wrong about Catra being just like her. As we could see later in throughout the series, Catra grew to become manipulative and toxic with her like SW) But Catra is like that because of SW's upbringing. The good part about Catra's arc is that she was able to redeem herself. But people weren't willing to trust SW or at least give her a second chance. (I could see why though) But I believe everyone has the ability to redeem themselves. Anyways, nice video ideas!(found in the description box)

i hated how shadow weaver said she was mean to catra because she reminded herself of her. if she did remind you of yourself, you should have taken care of her, and teach her well.
i think she should have gone through much more if she wanted to be forgive. yea, she sacrificed herself, but i'm not exactly satisfied.
catra really isn't my favorite either, but she had to go through so much, so her character arc was great.

I hate Shadow Weaver so much for the way she treated Catra her sacrifice in the finale wasn't enough to make me even have sympathy for her. My heart broke for Catra so many times 😭💔

As someone who had a broken mother, I can relate entirely. Taking the punishment for my siblings, trying to show her my worth through thick and thin... To try and keep my body and my honor to her standards... I appreciate characters like this.. to illuminate to the generations to have something to relate to or to show the reality in a gentle way of someone always trying to appease to the only one who would keep them.

Despite how crazy unhealthy their relationship was and how much Shadow Weaver clearly favored Adora, you can tell she definitely had a soft spot for Catra too. Like the fact that I don't recall her saying anything once about Catra being out of uniform and even offered words of comfort to her when she came to her about Horde paperwork rather than playing mind games from her jail cell made me feel like she was giving her twisted version of tough love to the tougher daughter.

I would’ve liked to see scenes of Catra treating Scorpia like Shadow Weaver treated her to drive home the toxicity of their relationship, though still an amazing video

This is fabulous! Poor Catra! She-Ra definitely did a great job showing Catra and Shadow Weaver's abusive mother/daughter relationship. Just poor Catra! She didn't deserve all of that abuse! No one does! I'm soo happy Shadow Weaver is gone! Catra deserves to heal and keep creating more relationships who will provide her with all the love she deserves! Frankly so does Adora too! Both Adora and Catra deserve to heal from Shadow Weaver's abuse together! Because Catra isn't like Shadow Weaver! Catra learned that behavior from Shadow Weaver and she at least is willing to change/take steps to heal. This edit hit hard!😭❤

I hated Shadow Weaver so much, and the fact that Adora _and_ Catra cried for her after she sacrificed herself for them pissed me off so much cause it made ME cry! It's like Catra said, why does she get to be the good guy? Why does she get to have people _care_ about her in the end when she'd done nothing to deserve it? And yet it made sense, in such a twisted way, but still. She was like their mother, so of course seeing her die would affect them. Make them sad. Seeing them cry, _that_ made me sad, but again, it also pissed me off cause her death didn't deserve anything else but a good riddance.

(Sry for the rant, Shadow Weaver just makes me upset😓)

By the way, do you "like" this dynamic? Because I wanted a partner for a project of a fanfiction... It's about Catra and Light Spinner, in an AU. They're ok there, no abuse or toxicness, and Light Spinner actually gives advice to Catra abt a lot of things... including Adora (she ships it! LMAO) XD so if you write, or just have some ideas to share, it would be really cool to "work" with you
