Also, to address most of the comments: Flashbacks do exist, so this was a possibility if real, there's also the time travel idea introduced in rebels. Speaking of Rebels, that's the death I was basing this off of as the Ahsoka series is supposed to take place After Rebels.

Given that Maul is wearing the same outfit we see him in at the end of the Solo movie when he was leader of the Crimson Dawn criminal organization, its either a flashback or a fan film set in early in the Empire Era

Remember that leak of Vader force pushing Obi-Wan, people also called that a fan film and fake and that turned out to be 100% real. It’s very possible that they lied about when production started on the Ahsoka series, because that looks way too legit to be fake, in my opinion.

This could be shortly after Ahsoka escaped the World Between Worlds. We don't know when her appearance in the Mandalorian takes place chronologically. She could have faced off against Maul one last time before he died to Kenobi.

This looks legit considering that she’s wearing an authentic outfit that’s from the series and Maul is there with an outfit that’s also pretty much from Solo.
