A friend of mine is a school teacher in the inner city of Chicago and what he tells me is that all of the teachers who are honest will say that the black culture is not predominately a culture of learning. It has very little to do with racism against them in life but more about their own cultural values. He tells me it's far more about babysitting them and their lack of self-discipline and less about education. I found his argument and personal observations to be very compelling. But of course we don't wanna address the problem directly, we'd rather hinder their progress by playing the victim and race card all the time.

I’ve always liked Charles for his truthfulness as a NBA commentator! He’s proving to be the voice of reason during these racially charged times. He just says what he believes, and backs it up!

Most common race card situation I personally see: Guy comes swearing and causing a scene in a business over something stupid. Owner says "sir I'm going to ask you to leave." "You are just telling me to leave because i am black."
