I think I would take the guest room and use it as the master bedroom whilst your kids are small. Then it’s the guest room that’s at the front of the house. You won’t want to be running up and down stairs when the kids get sick or need a drink, or they have a bad dream. Being on the same level as your babies when they are this small is so much better. Now if you had teenagers you definitely want them on a different floor!

I feel that upstairs room would make a cozy, relaxing, bible reading/library. A gorgeous book shelf, a few comfy armchairs and ottoman to put your feet up with a throw blanket and read. Just a relaxing, no TV space to sit with God.

That loft will be such a cool kids lounge when the boys are older! Like super super comfy furniture meant for cuddling and maybe a projector that comes down from the ceiling. Picturing a UK "snug" area.

maybe a workout room or library for that extra space ? It might clutter it up though too much with workout stuff being more of a central room and close to the other rooms.

Hot take but the loft should’ve been the playroom area! Especially since the boys’ bedrooms are upstairs as well I think it would be super convenient for them once they’re a bit older. And since you LOVE hosting and congregating w your friends, a dining room will definitely be necessary soon!
