Woman last seen in 2023 found dead in suitcase at Seattle homeless encampment

A woman whose body was found stuffed in a suitcase at a Seattle homeless encampment hadn't been seen in approximately a year, according to investigators.

The Washington State Patrol identified her as 37-year-old Shannon Marie Caslin Reeder.

Homeless outreach workers found Reeder's body in an encampment near Dr. Jose Rizal Park in Seattle on Sept. 27.

So is it 1 billion dollar we spend on the homeless (addicted) industrial complex in Seattle? I have participated in some of those clean ups with other volunteers, without getting paid of course. Not sure why the city can't afford to clean up our public spaces with that kind of money. I should like to see a few of those millions go to We Heart Seattle.
