In the full sermon clip, Voddie Baucham talks about the importance of the Gospel in the life of a Christ follower, explaining why belief in the true Gospel guarantees a believer's salvation forever. Baucham states that our salvation does not depend on our abilities or merits, but on whether or not we believed in a biblical Gospel to begin with.

Do YOU believe in a biblical Gospel?

~1 CORINTIANS 15:1-2~
(English Standard Version)

1 Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, 2 and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.

~EPHESIANS 1:11-14~
(English Standard Version)

11 In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will, 12 so that we who were the first to hope in Christ might be to the praise of his glory. 13 In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory.

The issue I see nowadays is people that claim salvation is far from it. The thing about Salvation the will be a DIFFERENCE about you. It’s impossible to come encounter with God and leave the same. Yes, some things take time but you will start to see things like God see them.
If you can sin without conviction, consciousness, or chastisement from God more than likely your not save

You will never receive the benefit of that gift from God if you do not accept the gift. And still you must retain possession of it. In your illustration if you abandon the house your forfeit the property.

Likewise if you allow Satan to take adverse possession while you aren’t at home protecting it. And you don’t repent and evict him, you will lose it to him.

No one can take you out of God’s hands, True. But, you can forsake him like Judas, Ananias and Saphira, etc. and potentially forfeit it.

What good is it to gain the whole world, and forfeit your soul.

hello. i just want to ask a question because when i was still a young Christian i heard someone say that if a person doesn't know the DATE when he/ she accepted Jesus as as Lord and Saviour then that person may not truly be saved.
I am asking this because i'm one of those who don't remember the DATE when i got saved. the only thing i remember is accepting the fact that Jesus died on the cross and paid for my sins in full.
i would greatly appreciate being enlightened on this matter. thank you
