We are blessed to shop at an Amish grocery store..the produce manager has a box (or two or three) daily of not up to standards produce...most I would personally use...but we have 22 ducks and 27i chickens...we donate the lions share of our eggs...and feed is NOT cheap anymore. with all the produce we cut our feed price by at least 40%... I watched this video and about cried...every single bit of produce in that bin..and donuts (ok chickens eat anything) would make a big difference in the lives of people raising ducks and or chickens...we are doubling our flocks this year...so many people are needy...and a dozen eggs brings joy to people like you would not imagine...

First animal I ever found in the dumpster was my Duck Lucky, then several chickens and a guinea from a farm supply store. I love it when dumpsters are filled like that with food and not animals. HAVE A TRULY BLESSED DAY and NIGHT!

When you find strawberries that still have a bit of white on them, put them in a paper bag with a ripen banana , close the sack over night. They will ripen the strawberries. This also works with hard peaches and pears.

The guinea pigs are so cute. Glad they have a safe home with you. They'll never go hungry with all the fruits and vegetables you save from the dumpsters. The broccolis and blueberries look fresh and good to eat.
