I've always done the ground and neutral first. You also want to pre-fold your wires so that you don't have to force them into the box behind the outlet, which can damage them. It's also easier.

Here's the order to put your wires together.
1. Ground/bare/green wires
2. White wire
3. Black or red doesn't matter
Taking it apart should be done
1. Black or red
2. White
3. Ground/ bare/ green

Now how do we do the other end? Where do all 4 wires go into the breaker box? Red and black on breaker? Ground wire on the bar? Where does the 4th wire go? The white one.

A licensed electrician would wiggle the wires and tighten the screws again!

You should mention that screwdriver head that is being used. It makes it nice and tight. Great job.

What happens when you don’t have the bare cooper? Is it safe to be installed?

You have hot, neutral, and ground... Whats the need of two hot?

The receptacle should have labeling at each screw... G, W, X, X. Should be obvious. My daughter hired an electrician who F-ed it up though. He put a hot on the green. When she touched the dryer she said she could feel a 'buzz', as she put it. When she told me, I knew immediately what it was so I drove 2 hours to go fix it myself. She's lucky she wasn't standing on the metal drain grate when she touched the dryer.
Before I came home, I went to the guy's house and demanded her money back. He refused until I told him we were going to post the event with his name on every review site we could find. That guy's stupidity is dangerous.

10/3 is what you normally get/have but when you have a house from a cheap builder you get 8/3 aluminum.

It’s crazy how I got my electrician diploma over night 👌🏾 lol

Technically, the order of hooking up isn't important at this point. Because they shouldn't be hot! Just be mindful of how you are going to stuff things back into the box so nothing comes undone!

Will anything happen if the two hots are reversed?

#10 wire is hard to push into a box…keep the leads as short as possible

Not seeing how this was useful if you know anything about wiring.
