We did @GetYourGuide ‘s activity called “Phuket: James Bond Twilight Sea Canoe and Glowing Plankton” - yes, we saw the plankton💃🏽but you couldn’t see it on my camera 🤷‍♀️ it was really cool to see though

You're asked to keep quiet not just to avoid scaring the animals but more on tradition. In SEA countries we have a belief that we must keep quiet in forests, springs or any natural environment heavily covered by nature, to respect the spirits or any other "beings" that dwell in the area. And we believe that these spirits can cast curses if you make loud noises that might upset them.

Anyone else's initial response "DON'T GO IN THE CAVE"? Caving stories have changed me, especially when water is involved.
