Overall, good video. There is an error; UCC23513 is not an optical isolated gate driver. It’s an opto-emulated gate driver that uses capacitive isolation. A true optocoupler gate driver would be a device from Broadcom/Avago (ACPL-W302). Prop delay is much higher for traditional optocoupler gate drivers in the ~700ns range.
Rather than switching frequency, CMTI (common mode transit immunity) is usually a better indication of an isolated gate drivers switching capabilities with respect to noise. Higher switching speeds increase the dV/dt experienced at the switch node. That noise can couple onto the input and cause faults if the noise is too high. A gate driver with higher CMTI rating enables higher switching frequencies. Likely more relevant to MOSFET/SiC applications rather than IGBT applications.

Another issue is that the low side frequently needs to measure the output current and voltage on the high side in order to adjust the modulation for proper power, etc. How does one isolate the current shut and the voltage divider on the high side from the low side ? FYI, some big IGBTs have current shunts built into them. Great video.

You missed one. There is a MOSFET/IGBT driver that has a solar cell output. The LED shines on a photovoltaic cell generating a voltage which can be used to turn the gate. The advantage is not requiring an isolated power supply on the load side. Disadvantage is they're only good for on/off apps not high speed switching.

The 1ED3123MC12HXUMA1 requires a power supply on the HV side. Lets say the HV side is 1200V. How do you built a ~15VDC power supply from a 1200V source ? If you power the power supply from the LV side you've lost the isolation !

I buy 20 tlp250 from r china the optocoupler cant drive any hide side switching when I add the boostrap on it work with a very low wattage but as soon as I connected low like a capacitor the optocoupler just stop working and heating up so is it that the tlp250 gate drive can’t driver anything and should only use to isolate?

Switching frequency of 15-20kHz in the case of optoisolators is not accurate. Even it is used for SiC to switch at 100kHz-.
