Hello, hello, Clara here, previously I uploaded a video on ‘Smart Pierce’ function of CypCut, if you have not checked it, please click the video up here. Today we will talk about another function “Smooth Microjoint’ of CypCut, it is quite practical for saving labor and time. If you are the first time catching up my video, please click the button to subscribe to this channel and share to your friends, let me be useful for more people. Thank you.

First, let’s see 2 videos showing the function of “Smooth Microjoint’.
The ‘Smooth Micro-joint” prevents the parts from tilting up after cutting, ensuring the integrity of unloading. At the same time, it can also reduce the perforation time and pause time during the cutting process, and highly improve cutting efficiency. The cut surface of the workpiece is smooth, reducing the cost of secondary processing.

This function is very good, is it supported by all CypCut softwares? Can my CypCut add this function? The answer is no. No matter for cutting metal sheet or tube, if you want to have the “Smooth Microjoint’ function, it must be bus system. Simply put, CypCut should be at least 2000E version, TubePro should be 7.21.171.1 or higher versions.

Let’s see how we could apply this function.
We can adjust the parameters here according to the test cutting. The ‘root ratio’ is the proportion of the adhesion between the two parts to the thickness of the plate. For example, if the plate is 10mm, this ratio is set to 50%, and the length of the adhesion of the two parts is 5mm.

Are there any precautions? We recommend this function to be suitable for air and nitrogen cutting of medium and thick plates, less than 10mm. Not suitable for oxygen cutting. Before enabling this feature, the drawing itself must have microjoints. If you try to add ‘Smooth micro-joints’ to thick plates, please try to set the length of the micro-joints 1-2mm larger, and the speed at the micro-joints can be appropriately reduced.

That is all our today, thanks for watching. Last step, click the link below, our store will show you many products you probably need. See you next week, bye!
