Wireless Remote Control for Smart Light Bulbs

C by GE wireless remote control for C by GE smart light bulbs. It turns your bulbs on and off and can dim the light. The remote control can work with a smart light switch to create a pair of 3 way switches. It can be paired with the C by GE smart plug to control a lamp or appliances.

Will I be able to get this remote to work for multiple bulbs? When I connect said remote to the app and add it to the room I have all the bulbs in but when I click on the accessories the remote is greyed out and I am unable to control any of the bulbs, any help would be much appreciated

Would this work for a solar powered standing lamp post? We have a lamp post at the top of our driveway (solar powered, no hardwired switch on the fixture or in the house) that we’d like to be able to turn off at will without involving an electrician. Would his be a viable option? Or does the bulb need hard wire electricity like that of an appliance plugged into the wall?
