In this video series I will be upgrading a Jackson JS11 that I got for free to make it sick. Adding gotoh locking tuners and bridge and the new tim henson fishman fluence pickups are all ideas for this guitar. In this video Im adding the tesi arcade button killswitch

Jkjk but as clean as it looks, I think some sort of extra thing on the bottom would be sick. Maybe just a cool sticker but idk

Aw man! That chip out was serious, but you handled it great. If you were going to do it again, start the hole like you did in the cavity and you'll notice a divot in the center left from the forstner bit. From there, take a small 1/8" bit and drill the rest of the way through. That small hole will be a guide hole for the forstner bit that you're now going to use from the other side to complete the hole. You can run it backward slowly to score the paint/tape and then once you're through that just drill away to meet the hole you started from the other side. No chips.

I have the Jackson JS11 in white, I love the thing but im looking to add locking tuners because it dosent stay in tune very well, and a kill switch to it soon.

Have you seen the shadow Killswitch pot it works as a tone or volume pot and you don't have to drill I have one guitar with one as a tone pot and one as a volume

w thumbnail, w mod, looks and sounds amazing. kill switches just add something new to your playing and your monkey brain will just randomly tell you to press it and its just so fun. this guitar really looking crazy and we about to see some fire content with it
