That's great, a lot of bands keep performing at 70ish and do it greatly. To people that say you can't thrash at 70, that's only because thrash is not a genre that's old enough to have 70 y/o artists, but look at Lemmy (RIP), AC/DC, the Rolling Stones, Roger Waters, Paul McCartney, Chuck Berry (RIP)... they're not thrash but they do (did for the late ones) show a lot of energy and youth onstage. I totally see them going 20 years from now

Hm... I thought it was gonna be 10 years or something. But 20-25 years? Damn... I mean it makes me happy, but at the same time worried. Cause I don't think they're going to be able to play some of the more intense songs for that long. They're going strong still, but you kind of starting to see more struggling here and there. They could just release albums and do a show here and there. I just don't want to see my favorite band not being able to play the songs. Though I also want to hear new music for as much long as possible. So time will tell. Wish them all the best and going to see them live next year for the first time! Finally!

Fuck I hope they tour for another 25 years. Yesterday was my first Metallica show and there was a woman there who had seen them 16 times and all I could think was “Fuck yeah”. I’d love to see them live 15 more times
