Pandemic Legacy: Season 0 Teaser and Cover Revealed

We've learned that the final entry in the Pandemic Legacy trilogy will be subtitled 'Season 0'. How will the game be affected by moving things to the past? We speculate based on the premise, and the recent teaser released by Z-Man Games.

I never finished season 1 so I never got season 2, and would definitely not get season 3, but I will probably get season 0.

With a prequel, it's obviously about how the Pandemic started, which is really the only loose plot thread they had. But going back in time doesn't mean they can stop moving the gameplay forward. So how will they do that? I've got to think that it'll be less about the actual Pandemic than in detectiving the globe, looking for spies right after it starts. Hidden Movement? Traitor Mechanism? With all these great detective games out now, it'd be smart if them to introduce mechanics from those types of games. The best Pandemic offshoots are the ones where they took the basic game and introduced a new mechanic: In the Lab got the lab, Iberia got the trains, Season 2 got rediscovering the world. Let's hope for that, as well as a story that actually goes a full year, rather than the 4 months of story in 1 and the 18 months of story in 2.

Wow, Season 0, very interesting Cover. Here are my ideas about the story behind it, some wild ideas maybe. Regarding to the cold war look of the teaser trailer I think we have to save the world from a thermonuclear wipeout. Thinking of that I spotted out "The World set free" from H. G. Wells. This book was a predictive writing about atomic war. So imagine an alternative history with a story line for Season 0 taking place in that setting: preventing an overkill with nuclear weapons. Tragedy, you saved the World, but not the whole world and after that four diseases begin to grow and you can not prevent that origin.
