ME: (thinking about Flipping Baits) THAT must be any 50+ $ bait that caused you to destroy your expensive Rod or Reel when you’re trying to get that bait undone when it is STUCK in a tree or big bush.

That Gamakatsu Superline EWG is money you gotta tip the point up slightly and kick it out to the side and it will NEVER fail, but you are def spot on about it sucking ass because of the hook point being in line with the line tie, great video man!!!

Do you have to use a Snell knot with the straight shank jungle hook ??

What’s your opinion on the owner twist lock hooks? I’ve been using them for dock skipping and pitching the last year. Saw they have a jungle option twist lock so bought a pack to try out. Seems to be a hybrid between straight shank and offset and my hookup ratio seems good on standard ones
