Some nicely modernized Schindler elevators with brand new M-Series touch sensitive buttons. The Schindler QKS door operator is retained.
There is a reason why the call buttons are mounted vertical rather than horizontal; this is because the elevators originally had R-Series fixtures. Bear in mind that R-Series call button panels are rather thin and tall. When Schindler modernized these in the 1990s with M-Series buttons, the existing holes in the wall where the old panels used to be were retained, and because of the thin sized holes, the new buttons had to be installed in a vertical position (90 degrees rotated) so that they could fit into the holes.
Capacity: 17 Persons/1300 kg
Floors served: B, G, 3, 3A, 5-17 (17 floors)
