Fmr. NBC executive explains why he regrets showing Trump as a great businessman on 'The Apprentice'

Before running for office, former President Trump made a name for himself in the business and entertainment worlds, which many voters say was the foundation for his claimed economic success as president. Former NBC marketing executive John D. Miller worked on Trump’s TV series, “The Apprentice”, and explains to Katy Tur why he regrets promoting Trump as a successful businessman.

The fans, the people who supported that show disgusted me. The great supermodel Cheryl Teuges was on the show. And someone came up to herm I think in a store....and she said I am not going through with this. I am leaving. Her face was on hundreds of magazines and the prize was for charities. But she had her integrity and kept it. And I applauded that. I watched the show briefly if there was a celebrity I was curious about like where are they now. Otherwise....I thought it was feeding off of an ugly part of us.
