Why so complicated in I phone android you click one button and scroll down to date and time in the text box

Why on earth has Apple made something so simple, so complicated? There is truly no need to go through the 36 chambers of death just to send a scheduled text message… And if you must go this route they should at least add an option for the message to be sent “ one time only “!

How do I schedule a text for just one time - i.e. how do I cancel “repeat” if I do not need it to repeat daily/monthly/yearly ?

It worked! You did an excellent job explaining it and walking us through it. I tried to do it on my own and I kept getting stuck on it asking me if I wanted to send it. I just wanted to send a text to my husband really early in the morning to call the East Coast without having to wake up myself, and I did two test runs and it worked!! This is an excellent video. Thank you! I see people asking why apple makes it so hard and their androids are so easy to send a delayed text message. This might be true but I would never, ever go back to android. The iPhone is superior in every way. The camera for example. I took a picture of the moon and I can see the craters. I have a newer ProMax but I’m sure a lot of the cameras are similar in strength. I love my iPhone.

Do not use if you intend to send to multiple people. It creates a group chat instead and everyone within your contacts list can see each other. Voids the whole damn point of privacy.
