Andrew Bolt slams politicians ‘blinded’ by ‘global warming ideology’

Sky News host Andrew Bolt has slammed “ideologues” Chris Bowen and Daniel Andrews for pushing renewables after Australia’s energy regulator warned of possible summer blackouts across Victoria and South Australia.

The Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) warned the national power grid is facing substantial reliability issues over the next decade.

“We could have cheap and plentiful and reliable electricity from now to the year 3000 if we used what's in the ground, and used technologies that work – coal, gas, nuclear,” Mr Bolt said.

“But which country has been cursed with politicians like this on both sides of politics – weak, incompetent or just blinded by global warming ideology, anti-nuclear ideology as well.”
