These comments are kind of delusional. Yeah TSA sucks and is bad, but there also isn't infinite space for bags on the plane. Plane ticket prices have been declining in inflation adjusted by roughly 1%/yr as the market has opened up to poorer consumers. The "nicer" flying experiences you remember was a version of the industry catered to a richer clientele. You *could* pay more for clear, first class, etc and get a similar or better experience but you don't.
