Nice to see trinidad through a foreigner's eyes, most places are locked to prevent any tampering, men in trinidad real desperate lol don't bother with them, you provided a new view of the buildings you did a good job exploring, thanks for appreciating us ❤

Love the vid and positivity too! Very infectious. The "catcalling", colloquially known as "sooting" is something that is culturally done to express interest in a beautiful female (and sometimes males too, though not nearly as frequent). However, it still is regarded as a less than desirable aspect that has been spoken against/called out within the culture itself, but alas, it still clearly still persists, smh. So you're definitely not alone in your sentiment. I am sorry you couldn't get in to see any of the Magnificent 7... lemony snickets I guess! Just means you got to come back someday! I'm biased though, Queens Royal College is my alma mata. Beautiful architecture for sure!

❤welcome to our beautiful Island Trinidad and Tobago. I agree with most of the comments here, you need a tour guide, more than a week to visit all the sights, foods, sounds and historical places.
I too hate the cat calls as a woman. You are blonde and beautiful. May I recommend that next time don't walk around alone.👍🙏✌️

The White Hall is actually the Prime Minister's office and a bit tricky to get in with security being tight and all. Nice tour of the inner capital though. Try to get down to the central and southern parts of the country next time. The food, especially the doubles and roti dishes, gets tastier down there.

Yea, the catcalling is outrageous at times. Sorry you had to experience that.

But glad you enjoyed the time there even though a lot of the historical buildings were locked up and not absolve for a tour. And the food!! Always a great decision in Trinidad!!

There are so many catcallers (and just insane people who bother you for no reason, in general) here, too, in the Philippines. Depends on which part I guess, but still A LOT. And they don't do that stuff to just visitors or tourists- I'm so sorry you went through that stuff; I know how it feels. Here, they often do it to literally anyone who they feel isn't exactly like them/isn't a perfect carbon copy of them. (Again- not all of the people, but a lot of them.) Just remember that karma is real so good luck to the people who disrespected you. ☯☯
