So when I take the topper off to wipe down my stove, I put it back on and sometimes it won’t light until I have rotated it a few times. I have no idea what I’m doing, just random rotation - I know there’s a proper way to put it on. Can you tell me that proper way?

Mine turned out to be a tripped disposal electrical breaker which was on the same circuit. Reset the breaker and voila, boom. Fired up right away.
