How to Make Baked Eggs - shirred egg recipe | Chef Terry

This video I show a simple technique on how to make baked eggs. This is also known as shirred eggs. I used 6 ounce ramekins but I have seen this done in muffin tins. Those are great for making a family sized amount of baked eggs. I lined my ramekins with Calabrese Salami but any thin sliced meat will do. I have even seen the tins lined with crepes.

Ingredients per Ramekin
2 eggs
4 slices Salami
1 teaspoon toasted panko bread crumbs
1 teaspoon Parmesan
Slat and pepper to taste
