I used to watch this all the time as a kid and now I can watch this awesome remaster! Looks amazing.

Best part about this song is its just a metaphor for life as well. We are all running our own races, someone else may have won long ago, but for those we care about.

We go on anyway.

We keep driving, keep fighting, keep racing, and pacing, and plotting the course.

When the sun goes down and the moon comes up, there we will be, still racing.

Edit: Learned the true meaning of this song according to the band and it hits even harder now. It's about a guy who worked so much he neglected his wife/gf and she ends up leaving him. It's crazy because that exactly what she told me, I work too much and she didn't feel like a priority in my life anymore. And whole time I was doing it for her.

Oh well.

I'm still going the distance.
