Noticed a few things they did wrong.
1. With the watch tower, when he was on the watch tower and moved over, he should have triggered the fog of war immediately.
2. When he spawns the scouts, he should increase his alert immediately.
3. You can never have 0 alert (off the player mat) which he did a few times.

As a backer, with the KS not going as planned, the changes and the delays, I've really had my concerns with this one. Now after having finally seen the game in action, dare I say might actually be Epic. Let's hope the missions are well tested and balance.
