1982 Corvette Stock #2282C Code correct Black exterior, code correct Dark Red leather interior, glass t-tops. Numbers matching 200hp 350ci L83 Crossfire engine, 4 speed automatic overdrive transmission, posi rear-end. One of the last 400 C3 Corvettes built, this gorgeous 1982 Corvette was originally assembled in October 1982, and is believed to have just 25,208 original miles! Carfax is clean, showing minimal records, which further attests to the low miles. Paint on this car looks to be recent, and is in very nice condition with a deep shine. Glass t-tops are in excellent condition, and even the rubber surrounds that attach to the perimeter of the t-tops are still soft, unlike nearly every car we've seen from this vintage which will usually show very brittle rubber surrounds. Exterior door handles are in very good condition with tight return springs. The windshield, driver and passenger side glass, and rear window all show a correct date code. Windshield is nice and clear as well with no major 'sandblasting' that is typically seen on original windshield cars with higher mileage. Window guides are nice and tight, and believe it or not, the vacuum system works well enough that the headlights will raise even when the engine is not running! Weatherstripping is in very good condition, still soft and pliable with no apparent dry-rotting. Taillights are in excellent condition with no cracks or fading. Slotted aluminum wheels are in very good condition with no curb rash and very good condition center caps, and wear 255/60/15 Goodyear Eagle GTII raised white letter tires with 7/32nds tread remaining. The interior of this 1982 Corvette shows very good condition leather seat covers, carpet, and center console, and excellent condition gauges and door panels. Dash pad is in particularly nice condition as well, showing no warping around the speakers, which is usually typical in these cars. Steering wheel is in good condition, with the leather wrap showing some typical looseness around the top. Interior plastic trim around the windows is excellent with none of the cracking that is typically seen in Corvettes of this vintage, although there is one crack in the frame of the right rear storage bin. T-top hold-down strap is in place, and t-top storage bags are included as well. Original Delco AM/FM/Cassette is present, and in very nice condition. Factory GM seatbelts are in very good condition with very good labels. The numbers matching engine in this 1982 Corvette shows casting date September 7, 1982, and final assembly date September 14, 1982. Ignition shielding, air pump, and correct a/c compressor are all in place, and the air conditioning system itself has been updated to R134a. Unlike many C3s, this air conditioner not only blows cold, but also hard on all fan speeds. Frame is solid and rust-free. A cowl area cover has been added to this car; otherwise, it is very close to how it left the factory. This is by far one of the NICEST 1980-82s that we have come across, and it doesn't hurt that it's loaded with nearly every factory option and finished in the desirable Black/Red color combination -- call us now because this one is sure to go quickly! Features include glass t-tops, 4 speed automatic overdrive transmission, aluminum wheels, tilt-n-tele, air conditioning, cruise control, rear defrost, power driver's seat, power mirrors, power antenna, power windows, power locks, power steering, power brakes, privacy shade, AM/FM/Cassette stereo, leather seating surfaces, 255/60/15 white letter tires. FREE 2 YEAR/50K ADDITIONAL MILE WARRANTY, GOOD AT ANY REPAIR FACILITY NATIONWIDE!!

I'd love to get a 1982 Corvette because of the body style and also because that's the year I was born. Coincidentally this one may have been built right on my birthday since it was in October! Gorgeous 'Vette

@Ny5angels Thanks! My birth year as well, and I also favor the 80-82 body style. This particular car's getting shipped out to TN later today.
