I think consolidating your stuff into one channel is a good idea. The secret to doing that successfully is the Playlist function. There is a guy who does the Japan Channel Dot Com on Youtube with a huge amount of videos and he has everything divided up in playlists for easy searching. As for the name, I prefer Kurt Bell's Bullet Train myself.

Hello gjevideos, Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Honestly, I don't think I'll miss life in Japan much. Though it's nice here this country certainly isn't home for me. I came here to give my daughter a chance to experience this part of her heritage though I never intended or desired to stay forever. My wife lived in the USA for more than a decade and she shares my desire to return. I only hope the transition will be smooth for our daughter which is our biggest concern. -Kurt :-)

I like some of your video suggestions. Imagine a time lapse of beautiful countryside that is followed by our hike with kurt into a kurt first person cooking video (outdoor camp chef type thing). Would certainly be fun.

Hello perdomot, Thank you for your suggestion. Playlists are brilliant though the problem I've encountered using them is the 200 video limit. I overcame this problem on the softypapa channel by designating playlists as "seasons" and defining a single season as 200 videos. It works though it's awfully messy and this is the reason I went with channels instead of playlists. I hope YouTube lifts that 200 video limit in the future. First of all, Vajournal is hilarious. Secondly, as a fan, I'd definitely be ok with ads. And I've wondered why you haven't condensed down to fewer channels before. Not that it's ever been hard on me to go through and view the different channels and their videos. Either way, I just hope you keep doing nature vids.
