I was inspired to print this after watching Joel Telling of 3d print nerd, printing the Giant Hairy Lion and wanted to try a large print of something that I thought was a great design.

It's always fun to see giant prints of this, and I love the color scheme. Thanks for sharing!

Good Job! If I gave any tip it would be the volume of the effects to be lowered because in headphones it's a little too loud but great print! Keep at it!

Looks good. If I tried to print this on my bambu I'd have a ton of waste (obviously this won't fit on a bambu, but still.) There are many tips for solving filament not adhearing including your successful solution of a glue stick. Some of my solutions for adhesion on open frame printers (excluding your successful choice of glue):
1. Make sure build plate is clean (soap and water)
2. Ensure build area doesn't experience drafts, if the room is cold increase the room or build plate temperature (some printers and PLA can tolerate 60°C, the wam bam plate actually requires 65°C on the bambu as an example.)
3. Use a color that adhears very well on the first couple of lays (plus it can look cool to have a different colored 'belly.')
4. Increase filament temperature some to decrease surface tension - often bed detachment is caused by the filament sticking to the printed line and the tension being enough to pop the part off of the bed, higher temperatures reduces this affect. How much you can increase temperatures depends on a number of factors, but if your prints are coming out shiny and not matte (for normal pla or silk pla) then you probably don't have more than 5-10 degrees of headroom to increase temps.

Obviously you could use a brim but on a print like this they can be really frustrating to dial in as it can leave a sharp edge on each segment. Not ideal for a print meant as a toy or fidget. You can get brims to disconnect easily without the sharp edge but the setting seems to be filament and build plate dependant.

For Timelapses use octoprint or a switch for the print head to bump into

Is this one of those things you make just because you can?
