This has worked for me in a party setting. Family event with lots of "non-gamers." It was easy to teach, and received well by many. Higher player count is definitely chaotic with more knockouts, but that was part of the fun.

I can't disagree with anything you guys said, I really like the game. The last time I played, I wrote "987" as my number the first three rounds knowing people would likely prevent me from scoring, but then I was the only person with those three numbers left for the final two rounds. I scored tons of points and won. So yeah, a meta will definitely develop if you play it with the same group a couple of times. I like the feeling of getting in someone else's head, and that's pretty much what this game is all about.

I will admit I saw a review that sold me on this game. They said it was a fantastic game and a must have for your game collection. Quoting that they said very unique and like nothing else. It's a bluffing and really fun with strategy game they said. I did buy it and played it.
The reviewer said it gets better and better the more you play. I am going to hold out hope that's the case since I own it now. Very unique and different it is.

"The number" of LOL lines thrown out by Zee and Roy in this review made it worth it. It's interesting to me that the reviewers who bounced off this game, I think for the most part, like Love Letter, which I bounced off of for the reasons discussed in this review.

I bought this under its Japanese game, Suzi-Q. I thought the same - it's barely a game. At least Suzi-Q has great art... on its cover.

With these ratings I thought we were looking at Darwin's Journey! :P Then I double checked!

It doesn't shock me though - I actually enjoyed playing this game, but then I do love games where you're trying to get in the heads of other players and sus them out. But it is very easy to see how this game will either be enjoyed or hated - it's a fragile game for sure, probably group dependent as well and has a very specific audience.

I did laugh when Chris said the game was dry though <points to his favourite games> :-D
