Hello, Israel. I am Cuban from La Habana, living in the U.S. since I was child. The Cuban capitol building is, indeed, very similar to the U.S. capitol, but you are correct about something....the Cuban capitol building is one meter taller, one meter deeper and one meter wider than the one in Washington, DC. In addition, the Cuban one is much richer in architectural details. It was completed in 1929, and it took some 5, 000 workers 3 years and 3 months to build it. It is a beautiful construction to behold! I miss my Havana. 😢

We visited Habana (their spelling) for 5 days in Oct. 2019. We loved it. Very pretty city, very friendly people, good food, The state of some of the buildings is sad - they’re unable to do some maintenance because of lack of supplies because of the US embargo on the country. The politicians live a very comfortable life, the ordinary citizen struggles to make a decent life.

I think what people meant is that you went to the most touristy restaurants, cafes, bars, etc. There are a lot of really nice paladars, restaurants, bars, etc outside of the malecon and Havana Vieja. Many of the restaurants you went to were higher than what you would pay for a meal in NY which isnt realistic for all of Havana.

👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 You have produced one the best videos on Havana I have watched Israel ( Top quality production ) ... $25 🤑 for 1 or 2 Mohitjos ... WOW... That is robbery ... I would only stay 2 -3 days in havana and then stay All-Inclusive in Varadero at a 4 or 5 Star Hotel ( Newer the Hotel the better )
