Seems relevant to mention Yekaterinburg is the headquarters of Rushr's central military district, our equivalent being NORAD Colorado Springs. Quite an odd place for an 'merican journalist.

According to them, he was trying to find out info about one of the factories producing military equipment: how many shifts, employee names and private info, number of units produced, relationship with Wagr group etc.

Those seem like very important totally ordinary questions the U-S public is deeply interested in.

Just the fact that he's in Russia he should be arrested.. I don't care what kind of job he has or anything...quit your job and do something else if you have to work in Russia.. There's millions of jobs right now in this country why are you in Russia working...
