When Jesus was told Lazarus had died, HE said Lazarus sleeps. When HE went to that town to see that little girl, everyone said the little girl had died, HE said she sleeps, that’s when HE met Thomas (see to believe Disciple)
When our Lord JesusChrist died and on the third day HE resurrected, Mary saw him and wanted to embraced him, but HE said “do not touch me! For I have NOT yet ascended to my FATHER in Heaven.

When Jesus compared death to sleep, He was talking about the rest reserved for those who have been redeemed in Him.🙏🙏❤💛💚 It is not a state for everyone, but only for those who have put their faith in Jesus Christ and live according to His teachings.🙏 💘💙These people, through their faith and obedience, were promised eternal life after death. Death for them is not the end, but a peaceful transition to a new state of existence, where they will be with God forever.🙏💘❤♥

Ecc 9:5 says " the dead know nothing, neither have they any reward. Also Jesus died on the cross, went to the tomb, and then risen from the dead. He left this example for us so we would know how it works. Then Jesus told Mary" do not touch me, as I have not gone to see my father" this is a pretty good indication he didn't go to heaven after death, and not until risen

When Christ was hanging on the cross, one of the two thiefs asked Christ to forgive him. Christ answered and said" I will see you in paradise " When we die, we will either go to paradise or a place of torment. As born-again Christians, they will go to paradise. Another example is the rich man and Lazarus. The rich man had everything he wanted while he was still alive, and wouldn't even give scraps of food to Lazarus. When both died, the rich man was in torment, and Lazarus was in a place of peace.
