I remember playing the old 3D browser 'racing' game of this song as a kid, didn't even know what Gorillaz was back then. My mind was blown when I discovered Gorillaz, loving their music and then finding out this song belonged to them waaaay later.

When my father introduced me to Gorillaz it was the animatic version of this which i think is 15 years ago and im glad he show (he was showing me different bands like Red hot chili pepper, acdc, Etc all at the age of 8)

God i love the older songs so much. The art style and song vibes were both so much better than the newer stuff, not that the new art style or song style is awful, but the classics were just so peak! I listen and watch the vids often, even years after first seeing and hearing them.

As kids, we had to clean our room every saturday and we had MTV as a background noise. I remember putting everything down and staring at the TV whenever this video was on.
20 years later and I can say that the early days of Gorillaz are still my favourite. The animation style and the music are awesome and much better that the newer and more advanced stages. But maybe that's just nostalgia for the simpler times talking. Who knows.

My dad was probably around 5 or 6 when the first gorillaz album came out, 10 years later he had me and played gorillaz a lot growing up, he says it’s his favourite British band and recently I’ve listened to the first two albums, and I understand why he likes them so much
