Little Log Loader Trailer Carries More than I Thought

Moving logs can be a painful process especially when the ground you're moving the logs across is muddy and your end goal is to saw the logs into lumber. Dirt dulls the blades quick and so a log loader trailer like this is the ticket to easy sawing. If you're travelling any distance with your logs you'll want to maximize the number of logs you can haul to save time and money. Today I find out just what this Wallenstein LXT95 is capable of as I attempt to lift the biggest log yet and transport it over to my sawmill. Wish me luck!

Very impressive The work that can be done with the little log trailer the lifting capacity, matches the trailer very well and will give you years of use. If it can load the big log that would really be impressive Great video Sandy.

Nothing worst than getting soil and grit onto the logs, watching and hearing the expensive saw blades go dull from hitting the grit. It's a nice log loader and in it's own way saves a lot of costly blades, your back, and the transport costs. It vastly improved the logging and milling experience.

Good morning Sandy! It's been awhile since I have commented, just been busy with life. It's going to be a lovely couple of days this weekend, so it's going to be country drives for me. Love the logloader, it's so versatile. Greetings from Peterborough.

Hi Sandy. I am a bit late watching this video as I had a lot of racing to watch this weekend. You have become more comfortable with the log loader. It looks like it may not be that much longer before you are able to pull straight into position with the tracter and loader. Have good days!

Most of my pines here in the south or over 20 inches diameter. You should see how I load a 16ft 28" pine. Only the backhoe can help me with those. Keep up the good videos Sandy!

That sure makes it easier with the little crane machine. Hey, Sandy. I was told those fires are pet moss fire of the earth, soil. That there are trees burning also. Can you clear that up for me. Yes be safe and don't get any fire out of control in your are. Thanks Sandy

Good video Sandy, watch out for metal in those yard trees.

Some larger than normal logs to fill your day there. The trails are looking good, and your tractor and the trailer didn't seem to bounce around as much. Has to be nice on the old spine. Good vid. Thanks.

Good morning Sandy that is a good amount of logs very nutty must of been field pine once apon a time with all those branches but you should get a good amount of board, though it does take a lots of board to do a floor, i had 104 2x6x10 feet long to do the floor and floor joices on that porch i was telling you about the porch is 10 x27 i had 6 2x6 left over after the floor built have a great day

If I was doin' it I'd move that trash pile and take down some of those trees so that I could just pull the trailer forward beside the mill shed from the lane without doing much maneuvering, but the way you're doin' it now beats all of the previous methods.

Looking at that big log, I would cut it off the bottom part and cut some thick slabs out of it. I suspect it would have some pretty interesting grain patterns. Maybe make some work bench tops out of the slabs. Or firewood...

Nice logs, I would bet that you have a little more than 5 Thousand if those are all green trees. We have a 6 X 12 trailer with a crane loader rated at 2500 max and put 5 Thousand lb. many times on it probably more than we should. You definitely have a great trailer. Be safe my friend. Jla
