He asked what she thought of three of her players getting double doubles and she answered with she was disappointed in the fourth quarter.

I can tell you how you give up 31 points -- when you take the ball out of Caitlin's hands and stop pressing, and you put it in Wheeler's hands you lose leads, every time!

Coach Sides, i can help you "figure out" why you lost your 30-point lead:

1. Make both Lexie Hull and Katie Lou Samuelson spend time in the gym shooting 3-point shots from the corners. Their percentage was abysmal.

2. As soon as the opponents go on a run of 6 points, call a timeout to break their momentum.

3. Don't put Wheeler in as point guard. Her plus/minus today was -16. You keep saying the team had to "learn", but it's YOU who have to learn. You keep putting Wheeler in as point guard late in every game, and every time it leads to the other team going on a run. There's a saying that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. That's exactly what you're doing. Stop it!

Coach Sides, I'm very, very tired of hearing you say, "They're young, they're learning." Do you even realize that your OLDEST player is the one who destroys your momentum in every single game? This isn't the fault of a "young" team. It's the fault of YOUR coaching. YOU are the one who needs to learn!

I cannot remember an interview where the Fever players mention their coach.

WHEN YOU PUT IN WHEELER YOUR OPPONENT GOES INTO A ZONE. Start there. TAKING CC OFF THE POINT. Another one. Look in the mirror and discuss why you squander a 30+ point lead.
