Part 6! Create Dynamic Dashboards FINALE 📊 in Excel - Like + Sub to watch the series #shorts

In the final part of our Excel Dashboard series, we cover the final touches on your dashboard that give you the tools to filter, sort, and analyze your visuals. You'll learn how to...

- Add slicers to your pivot tables
- Add timeline to your pivot table
- Edit the style of your slicer
- Connect your slicer to various data points
- Using the slicer to get specific data

Here's the step by step process 👇

1. Select Pivot Table
2. Click Filters - Slicer
3. Select Slicer items such as Department and move it to the Dashboard page. You can add columns to your slicer.
4. Connect your slicer with other Pivot Tables by selecting Report Connections.
5. Select the tables - in this case Profit, Revenue, Revenue Growth, and Accumulated Profit.
6. Under the Slicer tab, you can edit the color and look by hovering over Quick Styles.
7. Next, we're going to Add a Timeline Slicer so we can view our data over a specific period of time.
8. Under Slicer select Timeline and check off the Date box. Copy and paste it to your dashboard.
9. Use the Report Connections tool to connect it to other pivot tables (such as the ones selected in step 5).
10. Boom! You've created an entire dashboard to view your company's key metrics. With this dashboard you have multiple charts and ways of interpreting your data. Just be sure to log numbers as necessary so your dashboard updates.
