At least they portrayed using the player with a CRT HDTV. Digital flat panels are overused and are only truly useful for 4K.

I know this format war ended some years ago. But  I preferred the HD DVD approach. It clearly saw HD DVD as an addition to DVD.  And it does seem that Blu Ray stole HD DVD's idea of offering both the high end disc and the standard DVD in one package.

HD-DVD had the filming locations first but blue ray did it better

30GB VC 1 low bit rate Superman Returns The Bourne Trilogy Jurassic Park Trilogy The Matrix all butchered in video and audio quality no thanks.
