Im a diver and a free diver and i grew up in cyprus which is an island swimming and diving all my life. I ince almost died for getting stock in a small openning between two rocks in Cavo greco. I was stuck for a good minute and all my body was bleeding from my attempts of getting myself free from the rocks. Long story short. No matter how well you swim, no matter how well you know the place or done the exact same thing since childhood, this is dangerous and i wouldnt do it again. Going through rocks and caves under water. Diving is already dangerous enough no need to risk even more

Lucky he didn’t hit the rock.Sad to say I’ve had an uncle who tried to rescue someone and ended up in a wheelchair diving in trying to help them .Stay safe guys don’t do this Sh#t 🙏🏾

I had seen a guy doing just that when I went in that place, in Corfu. He also used to climb that tall rock (seen in the back) and jump from the top. Pure adrenaline.

Tourists come in Mediteranian countries and get really suprised how agile and brave people and kids are...cliff jumping is normal here as it is walking. Kids that are 6yrs old jump from 5m and above no problem.

As I said in another comment. This guy is a local, I can confirm it first hand. Went there in 2022, same place. This is one of the 3/4 dives he does as a routine when he arrives. The other one are death dives from 2 high rocks that are 20m on the right relatively to the video.
I have a video of this guy diving (at the same exact spot but second jump of the routine) with my face in it. If enough people start bitching about him risking anything then I'll cut the part with my face, upload it and link it here.

p.s. he's not the only one that does this dive here but surely he puts up a good show, as you can see a lot of the focus is on him, hence why he faked jumping from the platform as everyone does.
