2. Businesses will expand clean technology initiatives via their own means. Business has more a track record of taking ideas from incubation to market. Government does not!
3. Gerald Butts was responsible for clean act in Ontario and it has been a failure. Do we want the Federal government telling provinces to expand in areas that the technology is not viable?

Summary:
Canada government pro-green plan could have impact on economy. Clean Technology is about $45B business in Canada and growing 6-8% per year. The issue that could occur is the federal government will push funding at all costs. Projects have to be viable and if they are not then that could be huge issue facing new funding for clean technology.
