The magnets are cool but honestly the wire is a turn off for me unless your able to hide them. If the sill plate was designed to go over the door sill and the wire was underneath that would be 100% better. Even if the door has weather stripping it still wouldn't affect it. Also I don't like doing batteries as they can leak and destroy your interior. Great video nonetheless.

I mean, they look nice, And I can easily wire them, but one thing caught my attention when you said, well 2 things, they took forever, and you were NOT impressed with what, the Do they look that bad? I had something similar to this and it used doubled sided tape and it kept coming off if my foot brushed against it and after time it just came off

I recently discovered a magnetic version of this that you charge with usb and it has some kind of sensor that you put on the car door and it activates when you open the door I don’t know how long it lasts on a full charge tho

I got some of these but they are rechargeable don’t need batteries but one won’t turn off…I didn’t use the magnet stickers at all and three work fine without it..do you have to line the sticker up?

How do you know it door sill shut off bc all you did was shut the door. I could not could not see the door sill shut off. Infact, I dnt think the door sill shut off. That's why you need batteries.
